– What have you studied?

I studied illustration at the Llotja School of Art. Although instead of studying what I did was drinking beer and procrastinating.

– How and when did you become an illustrator?

When they started paying me to make drawings, shortly after surviving art school.

– What have you worked before an artist?

I worked doing Xbox and computers promotions in some shopping centers.

-Where do you work and what are you working on at the moment?

I work as a freelance in a coworking that I rode with a couple of friends. I usually organize to be able to do several projects at the same time, last year I had an average of 3 projects a month plus the classes that I give weekly. Although seems incredible: I still have all the hair on my head.

– Favorite and good artists for you?

There are many people who inspire me! Dave Cooper, Meryl Frank, Carter Goodrich, Carlos Nine, Javier Hernández…

– Favorite drink?

Coca-Cola with vanilla ice cream. I SWEAR, IT’S DELICIOUS

– Favorite place?

The sofa in my house. Just kidding, I love to travel and this April I’m going to Japan!

– Favorite movie?

I don’t know! I like so many movies that I can not choose. Big Fish, Leon the professional, Mulholland Drive, Funny Games, 2001…

– Advice to young artists:

I recommend above all increase your references: consume many comics, books, movies and follow many artists in your networks. Observing is the first step and for me its the most important. The more cultural and artistic background you have, the richer your work will be.
