– What have you studied?

I’m self-taught

– How and when did you become an illustrator?

December 1-st 2005 I’d got my first job as an illustrator.

– What have you worked before an artist?

I studied petrochemistry at the university.

-Where do you work and what are you working on at the moment?

I mainly work as a freelancer on small but interesting projects. In my past, I worked as an illustrator for mobile games, but it was not a very long period of my life. Now I draw different covers for children’s games, stickers and made a character design for a small business.

– Favorite and good artists for you?

All my favorite artists from the animation industry: Stephen Silver, Aaron Blaise, Cory Loftis, and Carter Goodrich. I am also inspired by many talented Instagram artists.

– Favorite drink?

I prefer green tea and sometimes can allow myself some coffee 🙂

– Favorite place?

I love the forest! It’s a place of natural power.

– Favorite movie?

Old Soviet movie – The Very Same Munchhausen

– Advice to young artists:

Don’t be too strict to yourself! Mistakes it’s not the end of the world 🙂 If we made mistakes we are learning. We cannot understand something new for us if we don’t make mistakes. Just keep drawing! 😉

– Your strong side?:

I think my strong side it’s my sense of humor. I love when the illustration is not super serious and pretentious. I prefer to make illustrations which can make you smile.

– Sports?

I’m too lazy for serious sport but time to time I can be very keen on new types of exercises (yoga, Zumba, pilates, etc).
