– How and when did you become an illustrator?

At the beginning of the last year, I decided to quit my full-time job as an interface designer, and switch to illustration because I’ve always wanted to improve my lame drawing skill, and also because I wasn’t interested in UI/UX anymore. I really enjoy diversity when it comes to things I do for a living, and switching to illustration was very refreshing.

Most of my working years I spent designing websites, apps and icons. But I also have an HR and SMM experience. Again, because I enjoy learning new things 🙂

– Advice to young artists:

To me, it’s all about practice and ability to organize time. I draw a lot, but at the same time, I make sure to have time for other things because art is personal. It’s a reflection of who we are, our experiences and thoughts. When we spend time on learning new things about life and ourselves, we have more interesting things to talk about and express in our art. My advice is to not lock yourself up in a room with drawing tools. Go out, explore the world and yourself.

– Your strong side?:

Vector art, ability to blindly find McDonald’s in new places, time management, strategic thinking, speaking foreign languages.
