Freelance Illustrator and Character Designer
– What’s your Nickname?
– Where are you from?
– Your years?
– What have you studied?
Business administration 🙂 I’m actually a self-taught artist and I learned through books, tutorials, and online classes.
– How and when did you become an illustrator?
I always loved to draw but I only saw it as a hobby. However in 2012, after my bachelor in BA, I was very lucky and I became an intern of another illustrator. That‘s how everything started.
– What have you worked before an artist?
I helped my dad a bit with the paperwork in his small company.
-Where do you work and what are you working on at the moment?
I have an office in a very cool coworking space with nice people and good music and I‘m currently working on my shop and on a workshop for digital painting.
– Favorite and good artists for you?
Oh, I have so many! But some of my favorites are Claire Wendling, Meg Park, Amélie Fléchais, Eva Eskelinen, Ryan Lang, Blad Moran, Eli Baum, Phobs and so many more!
– Favorite drink?
– Favorite place?
– Favorite movie?
The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
– Advice to young artists:
Don‘t listen to what other people say, follow your dreams, do what you love and everything else will follow! And draw a lot!
– Your strong side?:
I’d say I‘m very determined and hardworking if I want to achieve something.
I‘m doing some yoga-like exercises in the morning for stretching and inner balance – if you want to consider this as a sport 🙂
